The Mud Chronicles Reception: There will be a reception for The Mud Chronicles at New England College in Henniker on Thursday January 24 from 5-7.
Six Word Story Project: Submissions for the Six Word Story Project are due March 31.
3 Minute Fiction Slam: The 3 minute fiction slam is coming up at the Peterborough Town Library on Saturday February 2.
Writers’ Night Out: The next Writers’ Night Out is Monday February 4 at 7 pm at Brady’s in Peterborough.
Board: We are looking for some volunteers for the Monadnock Writers’ Group board, which meets 4 times a year. We vote on our board in June.
Smoky Quartz: If you want to squeeze a submission in to Smoky Quartz you can do so by Wednesday.
National Poetry Month: Stephenson Memorial Library in Greenfield is interested in sponsoring a reading by local poets during April. If you would like to read a poem, send a message to quill@monadnockwriters.org with a list of the evenings you are available.
Poetry Celebration: Please join Harrisville Public Library on Saturday, April 16th from 11-12 to celebrate poetry. Bring a favorite poem to share. If you are a writer of poetry, bring one of your own.
