The Monadnock Writers’ Group will host a regional Fiction Slam on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 in the Peterborough Town Library. The winner of the Monadnock contest qualifies for the finals. Click here to read about the finals in April.
How does the event work?
- Writers take turns presenting original flash fiction pieces of no more than three minutes in length when read aloud.
- After each writer is done, judges privately record a numeric score out of five. One point over-all will be deducted if an author goes over the allotted three minutes.
- We are pleased to have established local writers Jack Hitchner and Linda Warren as our judges.
